Corporate Social Responsibility

Over the years, Lukfook Group has always been committed to fulfilling its responsibilities as a corporate citizen by upholding the spirit of giving back to society and actively caring for those in need, making substantial contributions to the community. Therefore, we have diligently invested resources every year to collaborate with charitable organisations and participate in various community engagement activities, demonstrating our responsiveness and commitment to addressing societal needs.

In the area of medical services, The Group has been supporting the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals’ Chinese medicine services over the years, and has continued to support the “TWGHs Lukfook Group Chinese Medicine Clinic”. In recent years, the Group has supported the Lions Kidney Educational Centre and Research Foundation and the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong, to support charitable work for patients in need, and promote kidney research and development.

To empower young talent, the Group has been supporting the “Outstanding Industrial Attachment Scholarships” and the “VTC Design Education Fund” organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, contributing to the cultivation of exceptional design talent in Hong Kong.

Since 2010, the Group has established the “Lukfook Volunteer Team” to encourage employees to participate in philanthropic services, including educational development, medical services, community care, and environmental protection. Through long-term partnerships with various social service organisations, we transform compassion into concrete actions, injecting positive energy into the community. Over the years, “Lukfook Volunteer Team” has teamed up various social service organisations to organise a wide range of meaningful activities. These include partnering with the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Jockey Club “Intergenerational Art Centre on the African Drumming Workshop”, where rhythmic drumming helps elderly participants train muscle coordination, while also promoting the physical and mental well-being of individuals with dementia and their caregivers; sponsoring the Christian Family Service Centre’s “Dragon Boat Festival Love and Care” activity to distribute gift bags and spread care and warmth to the elderly and those in need; participating in Fu Hong Society’s disabled and able-bodied integration activity; collaborating with Food Angel to prepare hot meal boxes for distribution to people in need; teaming up with Green Power in the “Countryside and Coastal Cleaning Operation” to clean up mountain garbage and litter along the coastline; carrying out the “Invasive Species Removal Actions” to contribute to the conservation of Hong Kong’s precious ecology; and partnering with Caritas Computer Workshop to actively promote the recycling and refurbishment of electronic equipment to help reduce electronic waste.
