(16 December 2015) —Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group was awarded the “Corporate Citizenship Logo (Enterprise Category)” by the Hong Kong Productivity Council in the “6th Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Award Scheme”, in recognition of the Group’s contributions in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “Over the years, the Group has actively fulfilled our corporate social responsibility and incorporated the concept of corporate citizenship in our operation and management for the betterment of community and our stakeholders. The “Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Award Scheme” is organized by Hong Kong Productivity Council and co-organized by the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education, aiming to raise public awareness towards corporate citizenship by organizing a series of activities, encourage enterprises to fulfil social responsibilities, integrate corporate citizenship concept into operation strategies and management measures, promote it among employees and their families, clients and even the general public, and ultimately promote sustainability of economy, society and environment.
