(16 May 2008) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited  (“Luk Fook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 0590) announces a donation for the rescue and reconstruction works after Sichuan’s earthquake. Mr. Danny Wong, Operations Manager of the Group, will donate a total of HK$1,200,000 on behalf of the Group, the Group’s licensees in the PRC and staff during a donation programme, “Operation Relief for Sichuan Earthquake 2008”, by TVB on tomorrow’s night.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chief Executive of the Group, said, “The rescue works for Sichuan’s earthquake are in emergency. All of the Group’s members hope to assist in the rescue works and help the victims to rebuild their homes as early as possible. We believe our donation is part of our social responsibilities as a listed company.”
