“Top 100 Hong Kong Listed Companies Selection 2012” is jointly organized by Finet Group and Tencent Holdings Limited, and collaborates with Hong Kong Economic Journal. The selection event is held to choose the best-performing stock in Hong Kong. The listed companies are evaluated by the weighted composite scores according to five criteria: market capitalization, net profit, dividend yield, revenue and return on equity. Calculations are based on the closing stock prices on 30 June 2012 and the data from these companies' latest annual reports dated on or before 30 June 2012. The scores determine the ranking of the Top 100 Hong Kong Listed Companies.
The ceremony was held at Conrad Hotel on 5 November 2012 (Monday) with Professor K C Chan, GBS, JP, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, HKSAR as the officiating guest . Mr. Wong Ho Lung, Danny, Deputy Chairman & Executive Director received the award on behalf of the Group.
