Lukfook Jewellery has been promoting the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture and development of Cantonese opera over the years. Lukfook Jewellery has sponsored the Chinese New Year Cantonese opera performance of the Ming Chee Sing Chinese Opera for 18 years.
This year we presented the classic play "The Peony Pavilion" at the Sunbeam Theatre in North Point, Hong Kong during Chinese New Year, which attracted over 1,000 Cantonese opera lovers and fans. On the evening of the performance, we also arranged the "God of Wealth" to extend Chinese New Year greetings and distribute candies to people outside the venue, wishing everyone a prosperous Year of the Snake.

The play "The Peony Pavilion" was performed by Cantonese opera artists including Koi Ming-fai, Leung Sum-yee, Chan Hung-chun, Lai Yiu-wai, Chan Ka-ming and Lui Hung-kwong. The mesmerizing performance of the artists brought the characters to life and captivated the audience, winning enthusiastic applause and cheers from the crowd.
