(2 September 2025) — Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited ("Lukfook" or the "Group") (Stock Code: 0590) is pleased to announce a donation of HK$2 million to the Lions Kidney Educational Centre and Research Foundation. The donation will go towards its "Haemodialysis Subsidy Fund" to provide time-limited financial support to selected patients with kidney disease in pressing need, alleviating the financial burden on haemodialysis treatment and ensuring continued access to essential medical care.
Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lukfook Group, said, "Lukfook Group has always attached great importance to the sustainability of healthcare services, and has remained committed to actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities by upholding the spirit of giving back to society and serving the public. We are deeply concerned about the challenges faced by patients with kidney disease, particularly the financial pressure caused by the impact of the disease on their ability to work. Through the 'Haemodialysis Subsidy Fund', we aim to ease patients' financial burden and ensure their access to safe and continuous treatment. Looking ahead, the Group will continue to care for those in need in the community, strive to support the sustainable development of local healthcare services, and contribute to building a healthy community."
The Lions Kidney Educational Centre and Research Foundation was founded in 1991 and is dedicated to educating the public in preventing patients with kidney disease through health promotions, and providing low-cost, high-quality haemodialysis services for patients with kidney disease with financial difficulties.
