Lukfook Jewellery has been promoting the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture and development of Cantonese opera over the years. Lukfook Jewellery has sponsored the Chinese New Year Cantonese opera performance of the Ming Chee Sing Chinese Opera for 17 years, and this year we presented the classic play "Mistake at the Flower Festival" at the Sunbeam Theatre, North Point during the Spring Lantern Festival on 24 February (Saturday). The opera, performed by Cantonese opera artists including Koi Ming-fai, Ng May-ying, Chan Hung-chun, Lai Yiu-wai, Chan Ka-ming and Lui Hung-kwong, attracted over 1,000 Cantonese opera lovers and fans. On the evening of the performance, we also arranged the "God of Wealth" to extend Chinese New Year greetings and distribute candies to people outside the venue.

The outstanding performance of Koi Ming-fai and Ng May-ying on stage received applause and cheer from the audience. Ms. Candy Tsui, Marketing Director of Lukfook Group, came to the backstage to cheer on the performers, and presented bouquets of flowers to Koi Ming-fai and Ng May-ying to wish their performance a great success.

Ms. Koi Ming-fai said she has been collaborating with Lukfook Jewellery for many years and is encouraged to see that Lukfook Jewellery has established over 3,300 branches around the world. The performance brought an enjoyable and memorable evening for the audience and ended with warm applause.
