(7 December 2015) —Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) has been supporting the "Tung Wah Charity Gala” hosted by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for many years. This year, the Group once again made a donation of HK$1 million to support the development of medical, education and community services provided by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. 

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “As a caring enterprise with a strong sense of social responsibility, the Group spares no efforts in participating in charity and community programmes. This year, we continued to support the fund raising event of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, hoping that our donation would help more underprivileged people and  contribute to charity and community services.”

Being one of the largest charity organizations in Hong Kong, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals has been providing diversified services to the public  so as to uphold its mission "To heal the sick and to relieve the distressed; to care for the elderly and to rehabilitate the disabled; to promote education and to nurture youngsters; and to raise the infants and to guide the children". "Tung Wah Charity Gala 2015" was held on 5 December 2015. Mr. Tse Moon Chuen, Deputy Chairman and Deputy General Manager of the Group, and Mr. Peter Wong, Consultant of the Group, presented the cheque of HK$1 million to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals on behalf of the Group.
